'Free' time is generally very rare for most people these days and I am no exception.  In addition to family and work responsibilities, I try to also make time for various open source projects I contribute to.  I have, however made some time to try to make this site more useful for visitors.

 Visitors will only notice some user interface design changes.  Behind the scenes, more content is now pulled from a Horde server, which makes managing the news and RSS feed a little easier for me.  I am also working on putting up a forum on the site for general discussion and support issues.  This, too, will be driven by the same Horde server.  I'm also working on getting back up some of the older downloads that were removed with the last site upgrade....stay tuned.

I've also been slowly making progress on some of my open source software, and hopefully some much needed updates will be available soon from this site.  A new application, as yet unnamed, is in the works.  This one, another Horde application, is designed for general aviation pilots, to help manage log book entries.  Planned features include integration with other Horde applications such as Kronolith (calendar)  and Ansel (photos).  Stay tuned for more info!
